How to add a signature image to a PDF

A photo of your real signature gives documents a personal, handwritten look. The trick is making it clean so it drops onto any background.

Capture it well

Sign in dark ink on white paper, photograph it evenly lit, and crop close. Good input makes the rest easy.

Remove the background

Auto-trimming the surrounding white leaves just the ink, so the page shows through around your signature.

Reuse it
